Innovative Resources

I have been mentored by and worked with St Luke’s Innovative Resources (the publishing arm of St Luke’s, a welfare agency in Bendigo). Innovative Resources produce and distribute a range of conversation building tools such as flash cards, booklets, journalling kits and stickers (just to name a few).

I worked with Innovative Resources to create Facing Our Feelings (yet to be published). This kit was created primarily to assist people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (and a range of other people) to understand how other people may be feeling as a result of their facial expressions and body language. The object of the activity is to try and match the name of a feeling with a face that is expressing that feeling.

To assist in advertising and using the material, I created a range of other collateral as described below.

Resource Book

All Innovative Resources products include a resource book.

Assists the end user/group facilitator in using the resource in the most effective manner. Images of the card sets are used throughout to maintain an engaging feel to the product.

This DVD contains a quiz designed to test people’s understanding of facial expressions and body language.

A cover for the DVD was also designed.
