Swan River Cruise

Despite a cold windy day, I went on a boat cruise along the Swan River with my aunt. I enjoyed the scenery along the Swan River – especially the skyline of Perth City and some massive ships in Fremantle.

The expansive waters of the Swan River also adds to the beauty of Perth, and is quite reminiscent of Sydney Harbour. In fact, I noticed many similarities between Perth and other places, including:

• Perth’s skyscrapers being a similar shape and style to Melbourne’s (though Melbourne has taller buildings than Perth)
• The suburban areas reminding me of Adelaide
• The surrounding bushland reminding me of Bendigo
