Autumn

The above slideshow is a collection of photos taken around my garden in autumn 2012. I have truly enjoyed the golden display.

I hope you enjoy the colourful display of these photos in the same way that I enjoyed taking them.

    • I was keen to take some autumn photos a year ago but didn’t take many.

This year provided me with a perfect opportunity to take them. I was keen to share something different also.

Thank you for your lovely compliment Gail.

      Cheers,

      Daniel

    Hi Daniel
I love the colours of autumn and the changing seasons. Thank you for sharing. My favourite shots are the one of the stones surrounded by leaves and one that has a few leaves highlighted by a shaft of light.
The shot of the broom with an unfinished job reminds me of a picture God gave me once. I dreamt I was sweeping up leaves but as soon as I swept them into a pile, the wind came and blew them everywhere again. I had to get a bucket and collect up the leaves and get rid of them forever. God showed me that we can’t get rid of the sin in our lives by ourselves. We have to give our old life to God to deal with once and for all. God promises to forgive our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. Praise Him for that.
Thanks for a nice time yesterday getting to know you better.
God bless you as you learn more about Him and serve Him.

    • Dear Sheryl,

I’m pleased that people are satisfied with the photos!

Also, thank you so much for your beautiful story.

In terms of the cleansing of sin, I see it as a lifelong process of renewal. We have moments where we glorify God and moments where we fall down. But overall, I believe that God focusses on the fact that we try not to sin and rejoices every time we get up again!

And we certainly cannot overcome our weaknesses by ourselves.

      Peace and blessings,

      Daniel.

Some remarkable shots in there, Dan. Composition in the photo containing the rocks is fantastic – as is the angle on the ground shot (following the photo containing the broom.)
    Thanks for sharing, buddy.

    • Thanks so much for your encouraging comment!

I particularly enjoyed photographing the leaves right outside my back door. I find it amazing (and annoying at the same time) that there’s a deciduous tree right outside my back door.
